I’m about to finish my 30 days of no contact. I am not sure how my ex feels about me. The last time we talked, she was telling me she needed space then she’d say that she doesn’t have those feelings for me anymore then she’d switch it to maybe after a month or 2 things will work out. It was very confusing she’d say she doesn’t want this now but maybe later, then we should just date other people. Anyways it’s about to be 30 days. I have not heard from her but I’ve seen quotes and posts she’s put on her profile that may be directed to me. She’s also a very stubborn person, maybe partly the reason why she hasn’t contacted me. So I just want to know if anyone has tried writing the letter that follows NC, and how effective was it in your situation? Or if you tried another method what was it and how did it work out?
My breakup was serious and I was at Death Door. I sent a handwritten letter on 35th day, no answer. I sent a text on about 40th day yet no answers. I sent a letter described in Relationship Rewind, on 85th day. She replied it with a lot of information in it; it wasn’t just a lousy reply. However, she did not reply my third email. I should contact her in 2 weeks after her last reply with a text message.
Sadly, I have similar story to Dara. After 30 days of NC I did the hand written letter and delivered it to her place when she was at work. I got no reply from that. I did a follow up text 8 days later with regards to work as I knew she had just finished a major project. No reply. I know she read the letter as that info got back to me through the grapevine of friends that we have.
I’m currently on day 25 (round 2) NC with the intentions of moving on, tough as that is. Its going to be 3 months this weekend since the breakup.
I think all the people who have written the letter and have got back with their Ex are currently engaging in sex and are too busy to write and tell us that the letter work
This last paragraph made me laugh! You are right! The successful ladies and gentlemen are now too busy in sex to write us if they started with the letter or text.
I also appreciate the fact that your round to is aiming to move on. We are in the same direction.
