Hi

I was dating my ex for 10 months and it was w good relationship so I thought
It was what I thought a solid relationship in that we clicked straight away and met each other’s families few months after we met
Before he broke up with me we had just come back from a family holiday about a month before.
He said he wasn’t putting 100% in the relationship and doesn’t know why
Mind you he is the text book perfect boyfriend so my friends are wondering if he isn’t putting in 100% then what are they getting

I contacted him on the day of the break by text and phone no reply
I sent a last email two weeks ago
And I haven’t heard anything at all

We were a stable couple and spent majority of our time with each other
With savings discussed for buying a house in the near future
I removed him off social media

Everyone is shocked that I have told as he was always so diligent in his feelings with me and to make me happy

He still has some belongings at mine should I drop them off at his in a few weeks

@seekingme - It’s sad that he seems confused about his feelings, but there’s not much you can do. Your dreams have been smashed and you must be heartbroken in addition to being shocked by the sudden breakup. One thing for sure; you can’t “talk” him into changing his feelings or wanting a relationship. Yes, in about 2 weeks contact him regarding his belongings. If he doesn’t answer your message, give them to one of his family members.

I posted this about 3 + weeks ago since I posted the original post it took a while to

He has not been in touch since so I will be dropping his clothes around next weekend
