Well, my dear Ayria you’re so young like Raed and have so much opportunity for love and other things in life so at least you have plenty of time to find ‘the one’. In the meantime, study, work, travel etc… I’ve learnt that the hard way and I’m planning on doing those things now at my old age haha! But also, I know you feel blaze about him because it’s been a week and not communicating, exactly same with me, but don’t be disappointed if he comes to your mind one day again it’s part of the process to moving on… I’m glad I feel we’ve moved on but still come to this site to chat with each other… i’m addicted to everyone here hahahaha, I think I replaced the love for my ex with all of you here <3

I’m still Kinda new here but I’d thought I’d jump on this thread anyway…hehehe. If you’ve read some of my recent threads; I am definitely on an up and down roller coaster and have a really really bad habit of driving by my ex’s house (like this morning before work, to find her car not there and me go crazy with random conclusions).
ANYWAY… I wanna say thank you to everyone!!! I think the only reason I even have “ups” is because of all of you. Like Rihanna put it “I think I replaced the love for my ex with all of you here.”

When you said that you imagined us, it reminded me of, “Daddy-Long-Legs” by Jean Webster. The girl of this story writes letters to her step father on how she loves a guy. She had never seen this man who financially supports her officially. Finally, it turns out that her step dad is the guy who she is in love with!

I actually heard from my ex today wishing me good time on my trip
I replied coz I can’t be ignorant when she’s been nice ha. We didn’t ask how either of us were doing etc which was good because now we not exactly talking as friends so no more arguments I hope! And the conversation lasted about 10 mins and wasn’t really talking to each other…was more like just replying to each others General statements then a conversation if that makes sense

My story is kind of long and by now a page or two back, but if anyone else would like to share a comment on my situation it would be appreciated.
OMG there’s a wedding and I’m a bridesmaid hahaha… that’s my worse nightmare being a bridesmaid, I have to be one soon for my younger sister … But I’m sure it will be much more fun for a.z and i’ve always wanted to come to US so that’s great excuse for it ha!
Festival David, I admire your spirit really! You seem to be doing great in life going trips a lot and splurging which is great! I hope to get to the point where I’m able to do that myself, but it’s not happening fast enough hahaha… And you talked to your ex that’s good also, but I’ve come to the point where I think so what? who cares?! I hate how we were all hung up on our exes and would celebrate a little phone call from them like they’re God or something… Mine hasn’t responded to my text and hasn’t been in contact with me for almost a week also but I think he’s going through a rough time and he’s working towards improving his life situation which is great, or good for him
I really really really want to finish my semester here and move back to the big city. I’m trying to save from now til the start of 2015 to have around $6000, do you guys thing it’s enough to get me started? My sis wedding is pissing me off hahaha… not for anything other than expenses, like flights back here and a gift and extra spending money etc… But I really want to go live in the city and because i’m by myself I need some of your support or good advice, should I do it or should I live here and try to be happy

About you moving to the big city, if you feel more at home there not because of the ex but because you have gotten accustomed to the place or because the place radiates such a lovely vibe than where you are now, then I think it would do no harm if you will transfer there.
If you think you will be happier in that place and productive then go ahead. Though your ex is near there, I believe transferring to places is a sign of a good start
