deleted him off of facebook because i wanted to stop obsessing over him. Then about a week later he blocked me, even though im pretty sure he new a few hours after i deleted him.
anyone have any words on encouragement for me? I know its just facebook, and its just a website but it hurts. do you think i can get any positive outcome from this?
Maybe he deactivated his profile. Can your other friends still see his profile? Also maybe he blocked you/deactivated his profile because he was checking your profile too much.
My ex blocked me when we were still dating after a fight during which he thought I broke up with him -_- I know he has done it out of anger/emotion but not sure about your ex?
I know he did because if i log out and search him, boom, he’s there.

My ex also blocked me after I had already deleted him on Facebook. I think it was out of anger due to our breakup being extremely nasty. However, I’m grateful that he did because it keeps me from obsessing over him. He didn’t block any of my family members so that tells me his actions were somewhat ambiguous. It definitely is out of anger. Or it could also be due to some stalking.
If I would block an ex like that it is because I still feel something.
I imagine your ex saw that you removed him after a few hours and thought “oh well, not my problem”, but as the hours passed he became more and more confuseed about it. Maybe a little angry? And at the end of the week he found himself obsessing over your public profile, trying to figure out what the h*** you are up to… And to protect himself he blocked you.
This is what I imagine happend. One thing is for sure: some feelings are still involved from his side. Give him some time to cool down
i agree with creed. blocked you because you deleted him. its game playing. it hurt him so he wants to hurt you. cant let it get to you. im sure he’ll unblock you.

It can be hard… But just keep in mind that a reaction from your ex, any kind of reaction, is a good sign… It means you are on their mind…
He took the time for whatever reason to go an block you. If her was 100% over you he wouldn´t even waste his time about it.
Thanks for the advice guys! Unfortunatly a week after he blocked me i contacted him saying i regret deleting him and breaking off contact. After that (which i got no reply, only got a “hey”) i decided to go into NC and it’ll be 4 weeks this sunday.
I initially deleted my ex from FBI but the in blocked her. I’m in a war zone and don’t always have access to inet. She sent me 4 msgs that I missed asking if I wanted her pic and such but since I didn’t see them til it was to late she out of anger rage or just not wanting me to see what she was up to blocked me. I haven’t contacted her yet so yes to answer your question the Facebook thing can get punchy. But do u think she will add me back…

I’m not sure when, i just wanted to check again tonight, which i havent since i first found out he did, but yeah never lose hope!
