I would like to give some advice on how to overcome these negative feelings of a breakup. I have noticed that breakup is not necessarily a bad thing because it gives you a chance to realize your mistakes and make a positive change. Most of us feel miserable after a breakup… you might feel unwanted, jealous, sad, angry, or frustrated, you name it. From my experience, these feelings wont go away if you are constantly worried. Letting go and giving yourself respect is important as you spend this time alone.
Do you remember what it was like when you were single? After jumping out of a relationship, we tend to forget what it is like being single again. You are used to being with someone else and haven’t had the time for yourself. Our mind tells us to get back in the relationship before it’s too late. I have to say, this way of thinking will prolong you from feeling happy. It’s because of all the stress you are causing by thinking about what you’ve done wrong and unable to forgive yourself.
Use this time alone to do things fun by yourself and with your friends. Set your mind free like it once was and let go of your negative thoughts. By being happy, you will create this positive energy that will attract those around you. Your happiness comes from within and your actions. Give a smile every now and then, you’ll be surprised what a smile can do ^_^. When you let go of your worries, you will find how beautiful life is. Be grateful of what you have and your jealousy will fade. Remember, life is too short to be unhappy.
