So she was a senior and I was a junior in high school. We started talking in school activities in July 2017, I’d known her for years but never talked much. She had a bf and was in a very toxic relationship, he actually raped her. We started talking more and more in October/ November 2017. Eventually in December, she broke up with him and on Christmas Day 2017 we started dating. She was a whole different person w me. We spent so much time together, everyday or so. The only problem was she was going three hours away for college (this was the college I planned on attending and we had a big future planned out). I know high school relationships are typically looked down upon but we were different. We were so in love. She always told me we would have kids and a family and loved me mkre than anything. She was so happy with me and never wanted to leave my side. Even her friends agree. We would so everything together. Anyway, after an amazing summer she sadly had to leave for college. She left and things were going good w long distance for a while, I’d get to see her ab once a month or so. Then she met this guy named Ethan. She posted ab him on her finsta (secret Instagram account) saying he was super cute and a great jazz musician. He’s 16, she’s 19. I saw this and she told
Me I had nothing to worry ab and I was fine to let her hang out with all her new friends bc she was worried she wouldn’t find anyone to hang out with. Then she lied to me about smoking pot, then we started fighting more and more and I asked her for a couple weeks to think about things. She said she’d wait forever for me. Then, when I’d talk to her it was always about how high she always was or what she was doing with Ethan and I got very upset. It was somewhat mutual of a breakup but she said she’d still wait on me. A couple days later she was dating ethan and she told me about them having sex and doing a crazy amount of drugs together, this was surprising to me bc she was never the drug type. She was top of her class and sooo smart. This was in October. We saw each other late October when she came in for a visit and we actually ended up having sex which she regretted and began crying afterwards. I saw her when she came in for thanksgiving and we didn’t even kiss but we went out to eat and she said she still loved me but ethsn was just more convenient because she couldn’t be alone and she said she wanted to seee me on Christmas. This didn’t work out and we didn’t see each other and she was very mean to me after that. A couple weeks ago she said she’d like to be friends and I agreed to and we tested for about a day and I haven’t heard from her since. I think she still has feelings for me and would take me back but they basically live together st his house and in her dorm so I’m scared she will forget about me. She hasn’t deleted her insta photos of us. It’s been about 4 months since she left me and I’m not sure if she will come back. I’d do anything to have her back bc I realize we both made mistakes and mine was not giving her attention while she was in college bc I stopped talking to her as much and calling her every night. Her best friend thinks she will come back to me but this summer I fear she will live up there with him and when I go to college there I will see them together. Like I said they are basically living together either staying st his family’s house or her dorm everynihht. He is not the kind of guy I’d ever expect her dating and had changed her personality completely. Please help 
Long distance is difficult for couples! My guess is you two were not in a deep loving relationship, because if you were, she would stay faithful to you.
You could call her once in a while, not every night as it takes time for things to change.
