I’m going to make this one short.
My boyfriend broke up with me 5 days ago and it’s new year in 2 days.
I was wondering if I should wish him a ‘Happy new year’ and see if he replies.
How should I react if he wishes me one first?
Should I just say something like ‘thanks, you too!’ or should I just ignore it because NC?
Isn’t it possible that it’ll get him thinking of why I’m not replying even thought I begged him for another chance just 2 days ago?
@frxnxi2 - Did he wish you Happy New Year? You two only dated 6 months, but it was long enough for him to know if he had deep feelings for you. Even though you had good times together, he told you his feelings had not progressed. You did the begging, so now it’s time for you to go no contact because it will give him time to think it over and whether or not he might want to get back with you. I know you said he’s going to a singles party, but try not to worry about it, and above all, DON’T act jealous! Keep your cool and stay no contact. Good luck…
