Should I bother?

I was seeing this guy for a while and things were going so well. We get on, it’s easy to be around each other and we laughed so much. However, he basically seems to think that he should feel more by now even though it’s only been a few weeks. My attitude is that things grow and develop and you can’t expect perfection instantly. He said that he likes me and he wants us to continue talking but that feels unfair to me. He’s even said that he feels like he could regret this so I just feel so confused because I felt like it had potential.

Do you think that there’s a chance that silence could work in this situation? Or is he a lost cause?

You didn’t give enough detail. Where did you meet him? Exactly how long have you been dating him? Have you had sex yet and how long after you met?

Does he want to continue to date you? Or only talk and be friends?

It usually takes about 3-5 months for a guy to know if he wants to be exclusive with any particular girl. So yes, it takes time to develop deeper feelings. But sometimes the guy thinks there are issues between them that aren’t good and he decides to stop dating her.

If he doesn’t want to date you, silence won’t change his mind.
