Decisions…decisions…
I think my gut is saying to do something light and happy. Like the Mexican food one. Also, it shows that I’m out having fun, enjoying life.
The Mad Men one is riskier because I don’t know where his head is at. But if he is missing me it might be a better choice. It brings back memories.
Yea, I don’t know if he has been dating. I know as of September 27 (the last time I saw him) he was not, or so he said.
So the towel one only if I know where he stands?

Oh man! That sucks. It really doesn’t matter that he unfriended me. I mean yea my stuff won’t pop up in his feed obviously but he never posted anything so it’s not like I’ll learn anything about his life on there.

No, unfortunately he removed me as a friend when he was really upset the day after we broke up. But I think he still checks on me. Maybe just wishful thinking. But anyways, I make some of my posts public in case. 😛 always happy positive stuff.
I have decided about what to say to my ex…. I think I’m overthinking it.
I’m going out to eat tonight. I’m thinking about texting him tonight, “Hey, I just found a great Mexican place tonight. It made me think of you. I know how much you love Mexican food!”
He always said he couldn’t leave without Mexican food.
But I don’t know if that’s good enough haha.
Or “I just stumbled upon my Mad Men Cookbook. It reminded me of you and how we made those yummy vodka gimlets. It actually made me smile. :)”
Or maybe that text without the vodka gimlet part. Just leave it at…It reminded me of you.
Note, Mad Men is/was both of our favorite tv show.

Unrelated… I think I’m going to contact my ex tomorrow for the first time.
I just wouldn’t contact him/initiate contact. If he calls and you want to pick up fine. But at least let him chase you. I still think NC would work best, but that’s just me. 🙂
I just hope he’s not stringing you along. It’s great that he still cares about you, but something just feels off to me to be honest.
Mosis, I like your idea of making a joke of it. It takes a lot of the pressure off. Makes it carefree. We were always silly with each other.
I’m not sure what I would update him on. We have a lot in common but I can’t think of any updates he would respond too.
I’m going to think of more texts tonight and get y’alls feedback.

I woke up this morning and I kind of feel like that text is not good enough and maybe too cheesy. I’m so stumped. I feel like I have myself convinced that he is not going to reply, that nothing I text will matter. I know that’s a terrible way for me to think but it’s just my gut feeling.
