can anybody post some positive stories? id like to know how common it is that people get back together this way. i mean, if they really loved each other.. wouldnt anybody go through hell from them to make it work? i guess unless they valued something more than love?
This plan did work for a co-worker of mine. She did no contact for 46 days. Then sent a positive text. They texted for a week, and then had lunch. They got back together at lunch. He even had a rebound that he had been dating during no contact that he was going to end it with because he didn’t have as much of a connection with her than with my co-worker.

i kind of have a positive story now. my ex and i were friends for 5 years and she helped me through a break up i had before we became friends. i still had quite an emotional attachment to my ex throughout our friendship and a part of our relationship (when i realised i loved my latest ex more) and tried to be friends/get in contact with my ex throughout the years long story short, we got together and broke up. after we broke up, i messaged the first ex i mentioned and weve been talking for the past 12 days almost everyday. spoke about the past. about how we were gonna buy a house together, how we were engaged, our sex lives, family and more. spoke about how good our relationship was and the good times and how intense our relationship was for a young couple (i dated her when i was 16, she is a few month younger than me. we dated for 2 years) i said to her that she must ahve some interesting stories to tell and she said she does but she doesnt like typing, so i said you can call you know and she said she would but it would be.. weird.
never thought wed be talking again, let alone about the things we are. like best friends again (we were best friends before we went out too [she was obsessed with me from the moment she met me though]) we were both each others firsts and she told me that since we’d been a part (5 years) that no one else could satisfy her in bed!
weve spoken about my ex and she knows i love her. i ask her things because it gives me an insight into how my ex my be feeling after the break up we had. (i did some pretty mean things to her too after we broke up [do i blame myself or the intensity of our relationship? probably linked in some way, we both were the causes of the intensity of our relationship)
but shes been a great help and talking to her doesnt make me miss my ex as much.. and i dont feel like i like my other ex like that anymore, but it worked once so i know it could work again. who knows what the future holds.
