Hey guys,
Dated for a month:
Long story short, I met this girl on a dating app and it was love at first sight. When we met we were physically and emotionally attracted to each other. Other than a scare when her sister in law told her I sounded like “the one” for her, things were perfect. We spent almost every night on a date or crashing at each others place. We definitely moved fast but agreed we were happy and it’s what we wanted.
Sunday night we had dinner and went to bed. Monday I woke up to go to work and she told me all day how she was in love with me and how perfect I was for her. Tuesday I woke up and she told me she couldn’t do this anymore. I told her I needed my keys back for my apartment because I knew it was too soon to talk. The next day she told me her aunt died and I responded “I’m sorry” she mentioned she was going to block my number even though all I said was I’m sorry to her aunt passing.
It will be 5 days of NC and I’m mad about this girl. Shes perfect for me. Im battling with the concept of “why we broke up” “is it gonna be resolved sunday” or “is she just damaged goods” and not capable of the perfect relationship right now?
Update
She reached out Thursday and asked if she could drop the keys off Friday. I said that was fine since she had a funeral over the weekend. How do I handle seeing her? I told her I wont beg, plea or chase to get her back. I offered if she come up and talk or just drop off and go, but she did make the comment that she hasnt had a chance fo dwell on the breakup because of work and funeral arrangements.
