It’s a long story, so I’m going to keep it short. If you want more details just ask and I will do my best.
I broke up with her 5 years ago by cutting contact completely.
I got in touch 4 months ago. She told me she was seeing someone, but that she was open to hear what I had to say.
I sent her a friend request and told her what I felt and left it at that.
She ignored the friend request, or at least saw it but didn’t chose to do anything.
3 months later I saw that she has accepted it.
Why did she take so long?
@Sgthaytham How long were you together? I read your other post you wrote 4 years ago (April 11, 2016) and it seems she’s the one who originally broke up with you. What were her reasons? How long has she been with the other person? What did you tell her about how you felt? Did she make any comment about what you said?
As to why it took 3 months, nobody knows. Maybe she broke up with the other guy?
Think that’s another story altogether and not to do with this woman.
I “ghosted” her. No idea how long she’s been with him. I told her in no uncertain terms that I miss her and that I think often about her.
I know she read the message, but she didn’t comment on it, and to be honest I wasn’t asking for one.

You contacted her 4 months ago, sending a friend request and letting her know you miss /think of her often. She told you she’s seeing someone. Then a month ago she accepted the friend request.
If she’s still with the other guy, she’s probably not interested in reuniting. Maybe you can glean some info from her Facebook page, but don’t start stalking it..
Again I ended it with her by cutting contact. We had a sort of fling for 5 years.
Well, it says “single” on her Facebook…
