Ok so just in last 6 days we have split up..I think…so we’re out New Years Eve..having some drinks. Got in a fight, she calls her daughters to come get her..she has been staying at one of her daughters since. She took our cat over there for 2 days then asked if she could bring him back. I tried to talk to her and she talked but showed she was still mad. Mentioned a couple times were done. We have been together 9 years. She unfriended me on FB but, have kept all mine and our pictures up….whats your thoughts on this..should I reach out to her?? Aks for closure and move on..or take a new job and move out of state?? Me..I love her to death, and want her beside me like we were prior to NYE
@shortstreet I’m assuming there have been many arguments over the years. What are the reasons for her wanting a breakup? Have you also been living together for about 9 years? It also sounds like you are both older .. IE: not in your 20’s or 30’s. Maybe you two don’t know the proper way to interact with each other and couple’s counseling could help!
Give her a couple more weeks to calm down and then suggest counseling.
